BSV students gain Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards 2019
At Laude British School of Vila-real, we are very proud to announce the names of our students who have been commended with Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards following the results of the 2019 examinations.
Mireia Taús, Lucía Portolés and Claudia Nadal are among Pearson Edexcel’s highest achievers in 2019. Competing with thousands of students in the world, Spain has produced a total of 58 ‘Outstanding Pearson Learners’, becoming the second country with the highest numbers in Europe. The Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards are an annual celebration of the achievements of learners all over the world who have truly excelled in their Edexcel, BTEC and LCCI qualifications.
- Lucía Portolés Sánchez: Highest Mark in Spain for GCE Physical Education (A-Level)
- Mireia Taús Nebot: Highest Mark in Spain for IAL Biology (A-Level)
- Mireia Taús Nebot: Highest Mark in Spain for IAL Further Mathematics (A-Level)
- Claudia Nadal Poles: Highest Mark in Europe for International GCSE Business (IGCSE)

It is extremely rewarding to congratulate learners and teachers at BSV who have worked so hard to achieve tremendous success in the Pearson IGCSE and A-Level examinations 2019. These awards recognize the commitment and dedication of our school and our staff to our students, without which such outstanding results would not be possible.
We want to congratulate Lucía, Mireia and Claudia and their teachers on their hard work and dedication which have led to these amazing results. We wish them the very best as they go on to achieve even more success at university. Our dedicated team of fantastic teachers will continue to challenge, support and inspire our students to do their very best.
